I met so many nice employees of United Airlines. After mechanical difficulties we took off to Washington and missed our plane by 5 minutes. We were treated so well by United and upgraded. Thank you to United for a wonderful trip and for all of the photos!!!

Getting my hair cut and makeup tips in preparation for my trip.

I would like to thank The Spa By Mitchell’s in Cary, Ms. Hope and Mr. Justin for giving me a new haircut and styling tips and Trisha at Clinique at Dillard’s in Cary for teaching me all about how to apply my make up and still make it look natural for my age. Thank you all so much!!!

Employees of “Jared the Galleria of Jewelry” store in Cary, NC gave me the Pandora “London Bus” Charm for my trip to the London Olympics!

I would like to thank all of my friends, who are the employees of  “Jared the Galleria of  Jewelry” store in Cary,  NC,  for the beautiful London Bus Pandora charm that they gave me for my trip to the London Olympics.  It goes beautifully with   my Red, White and Blue Murano Glass charm.  I have had so much fun collecting my charms and they all have a special meaning to me.  I have the traditional silver bracelet but they also carry leather and colored cords.  I have fun shopping there as they have a full selection of Pandora.  They have silver and gold charms as well as two tone.  I have some of their animals and enamel beads.  Next I want to collect one of the nautical charms as I am going to a swimming event at the Olympics, wood ones or perhaps my birthstone.    Mom and dad  got the new “Statue of Liberty” charm for me as I went to NY to cook and film with Rachael Ray.  Watch me on Friday, July 27th on ABC at 10am.   Have fun collecting!

Thank you to our local McDonald’s operators, the Haynie Family for a fantastic send off party for the Olympics

I would like to thank our local McDonald’s operator’s, the Haynie family, for the fantastic send off party that they gave me in their store located in the Apex Wal-Mart on July 19th.  That is where I found out about the competition and the fantastic journey started.  It was all decorated, they had great food and a beautifully decorated cake.  I was so proud to have my banner in front of their store with my name on it.  I am looking forward to being a representative of the USA as well as a role model for a healthy lifestyle that involves family and fun.  There were so many friends and family that came to wish my dad and I the best as well as wishes from friends who could not come.  Thank you to everyone for your support, McDonald’s and Mckeeman Marketing.  London…here I come!
