Today was the deadline for some of my entries. The food vendors are up and running and the rides are getting in place. The Fair opens on Thursday at 3pm!

Pumpkin Contest at the NC State Farmer’s Market
Today my friend Eva and I entered our decorated pumpkins at the NC State Farmer’s Market in Raleigh. My entry was the “2012 Pumpkin Olympics”, which had Equestrian, soccer, swimming, volleyball and archery. I got second place. Eva’s entry was an old lady with a lamp shade for a hat and she got 4th place! We got beautiful orange Got to be NC Shirts and got to see the other entries. News 14 was there and should run a story on it today.
